Spring Hikes in Sonoma County

Here on the Wildside of the Wine Country on the Russian River, we’ve had some rain and everything is in bloom.   The Press Democrat just ran a story called   “Five Undiscovered Spring Hikes” .  Some of the wild Iris at the coast have begun to bloom.  In April the drive out Coleman Valley Road from Occidental to the Coast should be through beautiful hills enhanced with the blue of the blooming wild iris.  If you have never seen it before then try to get here for it this year.
